Give the gift that keeps on giving

St. Patrick's Day is coming up fast, and so is my birthday. The ideal gift for either of these occasions is a bottle of something deliciously intoxicating. I recommend Bakon Vodka, but go with whatever you like, from a six-pack of Guinness to a jug of whiskey. The important part is that you dress up your boozy gift with a clever bottle tag. Here's one of my favorites:

Don't see the bottle tag you want? I'm happy to whip one up from any button design you like.

And for the Button of the Day, here's the matching design in 1" round format:

#0230: You call it a drinking problem. I call it a reality exit strategy.

Who puts the Laughter in Manslaughter?

Did you know that today is Chuck Norris's 70th birthday? It's also Osama Bin Laden's birthday. Now there's a cage match I'd pay to see.

Also on this day, in 1862, the first paper money was issued in the U.S. I'm a fan of money, and I'd like to collect more. So here's the button for today:

#0261: Of course it buys happiness

Plus, this button's green, so you can wear it on St. Patrick's Day and avoid a pinch.
I have a billion other green buttons too, so stock up before the big day on the 17th.

Panicking and Shortness

Today is Panic Day! I don't know why it's Panic Day, but I have a button for it anyway:

#0282: Panic Button

And because it's Two-Button Tuesday, here's the second button:

#0325: I'm not short. I'm fun-sized.

Wonder why this is one of the buttons for today? It might have something to do with the fact that today is Emmanuel Lewis's birthday. Or maybe I was inspired by Barbie's birthday. Or it could just be random coincidence.

Craft Shows and Boobies, but not necessarily together

I had a great time at the I Heart Indie Crafts show in Kirkland yesterday. I'll be there again the first Sunday in May, so mark your calendars.

I also just signed up for the April I Heart Rummage show, which is at Chop Suey on Capitol Hill. Don't miss it!

Today is International Women's Day, so here's a Button of the Day for all you Fallopian Americans:

#0093: Feel Your Boobies

Remember to perform monthly self-exams to prevent breast cancer.

And if you don't already do it, visit the Breast Cancer Site every day (or at least today) and Click to Give Free Mammograms to women in need. It doesn't cost you anything but a few seconds of your time, but it can mean a healthy future for a women who can't afford a mammogram.

Liberty and Justice and a Show on Sunday

A bit of trivia for you: on March 3, 1931, the Star Spangled Banner was adopted as our national anthem.

Here's a loosely related Button of the Day:

#0330: Liberty & Justice for All (not available in all areas)

Click here to view this button in my Etsy store.

Okay, so it's not really related to the national anthem at all, but at least it has the Statue of Liberty in the background. Yay America!
